A technology professional in the Silicon Valley since the 90s, Satish Menon discovered photography as a passion several years ago.  He has since become an award winning photographer and loves to teach the craft as well.    Hundreds of photography enthusiasts from all over California have attended his photography teaching programs.  He authors a "digital photography tip of the day" that is emailed to photography enthusiasts from all over the world.  His work has been published in the Nature Photographer magazine and he has many contest winning images to his credit.

Satish founded pixgaga.com to help other photography enthusiasts experience the same pleasure in photography like he does.

Over the last ten years, I have learned a lot of photography from those that have walked before me.

The books and photography by the following great photographers have moulded me greatly: John Shaw, Art Wolfe, Frans Lanting, Galen Rowell, Ansel Adams, Jack Dykinga, Tony Sweet, Bryan Peterson, John & Barbara Gerlach, Moose Peterson, Arthur Morris, Annie Liebovitz, Henri-Cartier Bresson, Michael Freeman, Michael Frye, Brenda Tharp, George and Kathryn Vincent Lepp, David Muench, Freeman Patterson, Steve McCurry and Tom Grill.
